Regen Aqua is woman owned business, and powered by aqua-experienced people from diverse backgrounds.
Celine Bourque is a goal driven and a self-starter with specialized knowledge in Aquaponics industry and sales. Since graduating from the Atlantic Police Academy in Summerside, PEI in 2017, Mrs. Bourque has acquired an interesting variety of work experience ranging from working as a security officer, to teaching disabled kids to ride horses, to working as a care giver in a senior residence to customer service manager at Wall-Mart, to working at one of Canada’s largest aquaculture-companies as a hatchery technician.
Mrs. Bourque is business owner and founder of New Brunswick’s first Aquaponic farm: Regen Aqua, which delivers sustainably grown, 100% organic Boston lettuce and smoked rainbow trout filets to institutions, wholesalers, and retailers throughout Atlantic Canada.
Marc Laberge is a fish biologist with over 34 years of expertise in recirculating technology and has been an aquatic consultant since 1991.
Before becoming fascinated by aquaponics, he worked as a fish parasitologist at the McGill University Institute of Parasitology Canadian National Reference Center, where he learned about recirculating systems. Marc‘s consulting contracts varied from living in fishing camps with the Cree Aboriginals of northern Quebec to study the quality and quantity of their fish harvests, to being head designer at Hydro-Nov for various mega recirculating facilities (600+ tonnes) for trout, arctic char and tilapia in China.

Regen Aqua will be a business of the future. We will offer public tours for students and those in the local community who are interested in learning about Aquaponics and innovation farming.
Regen Aqua will support and give back to community. We know how lucky we are to do what we love every day. That’s why we give back to the local community that’s been so good to us. We will donate fresh lettuce to the Valley Food Bank of Woodstock.
